Biography:This is Coach Perez's fourth year coaching middle school cross country. She has had a vast amount of experience with distance running. Coach Perez ran competitively in high school in Indiana where she earned All-State honors six times and was the runner up state champion her senior year in the 3200 meters. Coach Perez went on to run varsity track and cross country for Purdue University. She still enjoys distance running and now focuses her training on marathons and other distance road races. Coach Perez is also the department chair for the Math department at the Henderson International School. She enjoys sharing her love of math with her middle school students. She feels that each child is capable of learning math and it is her responsibility to tap into the child's potential. When Coach Perez is not running or teaching math, Tara Lynn is chasing after her pre-school aged daughter, Emma.
