Teaching dance as a form of art in education fosters an understanding of the physical, mental, artistic, and social aspects associated with dance as an art form. The cornerstones of our program include; dancing and performing, creating and composing, knowing history, culture and context, and analyzing and critiquing. These cornerstones enable dance specialists and enthusiasts to develop substantive and sequential dance experiences as students progress from Kindergarten through grade 12.
