Our digital media programs are designed to teach students graphic design and basic production practices. Individual and group projects are central to the structure of the motion graphics design program with focus on process, research, concept and strategy for marketing, advertising and commercial art. Projects are developed for cross-platform media delivery, including identity packages, commercials, public service announcements, games, DVDs, the Internet and a variety of interactive screen environments. In addition, students acquire the video editing and pre and post production skills to shoot and edit projects such as music videos, film titles, movie trailers, or educational videos.

Classes are project-based and incorporate all aspects of visual design and production. Students utilize extensive lab time to become adept in a variety of industry-standard applications. A series of independent and group projects throughout the program are directed toward building the students portfolio. Software and hardware utilized in the program include packages from Apple, Adobe, Macromedia and Microsoft.
