Our music department provides a comprehensive educational opportunity to all students in the practice, knowledge, and appreciation of music.

The Henderson International School offers Beginning Band, Advanced Band, Jazz Ensemble, and Vocal Ensemble training in an atmosphere which encourages personal and artistic growth.

Students also perform outside the school campus, allowing them to share and entertain the community in which we all live.

Pre-requisites include :

• Open to all Henderson International School students in grades K-12.
• Students in Jazz Ensemble must participate in Advanced Band.
• All Middle School and High School Theatre classes are by audition only.
• Elementary School theatrical productions are by audition for principal parts.
• First Grade Choir is open to any first grade student.
• Elementary School Choir is for grades 2-4 and no audition is required. Some first grade students may be invited to join by audition.
• Middle School Choir is for grades 5-8 and no audition is required. However, all solos and small ensemble parts are assigned after audition and vocal testing.
