Trailing 16-6 with under 3:00 remaining, the Wolverines scored a touchdown and converted a two-point conversion to make the score 16-14. Not be outdone, Mountain View stormed right back a scored a touchdown of their own to go on top 22-14 with just over 2:00 left and all but sealed the Wolverines fate.
