Meet the SRDC Leadership Team

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR:  Heather Pack is originally from New Jersey and considers herself to be lifelong summer camper!   As a child, she attended Pine Grove Day Camp, where her mother worked for many years and then attended Timber Lake West Overnight Camp for two summers.  After graduating with her B.A. from Indiana University, Heather moved to Washington, DC to work on Capitol Hill.  In 2001, she moved to Las Vegas and worked for United States Senator Harry Reid.  She married Edmond Pack in 2003 and in 2005 daughter Ellie was born.  It was a lucky coincidence in 2009 when Heather’s twin boys, Ari and Henry, were born within a month of SRDC Founding Director Lisa Bienstocks third son.  The two women (and the three boys) quickly developed a lasting friendship and their shared love for summer camping brought Heather straight to Summit Ridge Day Camp.  Heather officially joined the staff in 2012 as SRDC’s first Registration Coordinator and in 2014 she became the full-time Executive Director.  Heather also sits on the Board of Directors at Midbar Kodesh Temple and is active in other community outreach and fundraising programs within the Las Vegas community.

Program Director - Amanda Campbell  Hello old-timers and new-timers, my name's Amanda and I LOVE camp! I started at SRDC opening day in 2011 and grew from counselor to program director. I love planning the activities at SRDC because it makes camp a special place to go every day! We literally have so much fun, the staff and the kiddos!   I grew up here in Henderson and now I work for CCSD as a 4th grade teacher. I love working with children and watching them grow.
