Lunar New Year Celebrations

back to News & Events

Today, we are celebrating Lunar New Year as students learn about the history of the Lunar New Year and how it’s a day for praying along with the belief that the New Year day is to fight off monsters.

To honor and bring that belief to life, students have created noise makers and masks to scare those monsters away during our annual Lunar New Year parade. Our Early Childhood students paraded through the school campus showcasing their artwork to upper-level students. Students have also been busy creating gift envelopes and writing "Good Luck" on the front of them.
