At our international school in Henderson, we believe that wearing a uniform helps every student feel part of our vibrant community. Our dress code is designed to foster a sense of unity and pride, so everyone can focus on learning and growing together.
All students from to Early Childhood to Middle School wear their uniforms with pride. We encourage attire that is neat, clean, comfortable, and durable, helping each learner feel confident and ready to represent our school in the best possible way.
Wear the HIS polo shirt long or short sleeved, layering with an HIS sweatshirt or sweater, or a plain white, blue, or red option featuring the HIS logo. Students can wear plain white, blue, or red clothing without logos underneath their polo shirt.
Choose between khaki or blue chinos, either as pants or shorts. All bottoms should have a classic, tailored fit worn to the waist with pants hemmed at the ankle and shorts reaching the knee.
Wear HIS plaid, blue, or khaki jumpers, skirts, or skorts, and HIS logo dresses in blue or red. All should be of appropriate length. For added comfort, plain white, black, red, or blue leggings may be worn underneath.
For physical education, wear athletic shoes that are suitable for school activities. Socks or tights are required every day, and we encourage students to save their most colorful or playful socks for special Spirit Days.
From Grade 6 boys and girls change into PE attire for class. The standard uniform includes school shorts and a PE t-shirt, paired with socks and athletic shoes, ensuring everyone is comfortable in physical activities.
The athletic department provides game uniforms at the start of each season, and athletes are expected to wear them in full during contests. For practices, students should come prepared in their PE t-shirt, shorts or pants, socks, and athletic shoes.
Caps, hats, beanies, and hoods are for outdoor use only, with the bill facing forward. Swimwear should be modest, with either a one-piece suit or shorts and a top. Bags should be a comfortable size and weight for each student.
