Building confidence through reading, writing, and speaking
Grade 6 students focus on expository writing, editing, journalism, and a diverse range of reading materials, including both modern and ancient literature. They develop research and essay writing abilities and practice public speaking.
By Grade 7 - 8, the curriculum advances to include argumentative and analytical writing, exploration of world novels and poetry, and deeper study of literary elements. Students engage with both assigned and self-selected texts, period fiction and non-fiction, and further develop their public speaking skills through monologues and speeches.
Developing problem-solving and logical thinking
At our international school in Henderson, students build strong problem-solving skills and mathematical reasoning as they progress through a comprehensive curriculum covering number relationships, number systems, geometry, measurement, statistics, probability, math communication, and quantitative reasoning.

In Grades 6 through 8, students explore United States history from pre-colonization through the late 20th century, alongside studies of ancient civilizations such as Mesopotamia, Egypt, China, India, Greece, and Rome.
