The Admissions Assessment will evaluate your child’s academic abilities across math and English. The assessment will also evaluate your child’s readiness for their grade level and enable the school to decide which class your child will be best suited. This is a great opportunity for the school to learn more about your child and for your child to ask any questions they may have, as well as learn a little more about our school environment.
Upon completion of the assessment, the Admissions Department will schedule a Family Admissions and Assessment Feedback meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to:
Children are welcome to attend, however, if you would prefer them not to attend, that is acceptable too. This meeting discusses financial information that you may decide is not appropriate for your child to be a part of.
Both parents are welcome to sign and attend the meeting, however, the contract and payment authorization form requires only one signature.
Yes! Henderson International School provides a sibling discount. Please refer to the Tuition and Fees leaflet for further details.
We are delighted that you have been recommended. Please be sure to let the Admissions Office know of your referral during your tour and when contacted to schedule an Admissions Assessment.
The first step will be to complete an online application. The Admissions Office will then be in contact to schedule an Admissions Assessment. Every child is unique and as such, we will work with each family to determine the best way to assess your child if they cannot attend campus. Again, once a placement is offered, you will be required to place a $750 non-refundable deposit to secure their place.
Supplies such as iPads, pencils, paper, art supplies and books are included within tuition. Students in grades 5-8 will be required to purchase a laptop. Our Computer Science Department can provide advice and guidance to help you purchase a laptop that meets our tech requirements. School uniform, lunches and snacks are not included in tuition. Additionally, some overnight field trip experiences are also not included. After school club is not included.

Campers should bring a labelled bag containing a towel, a change of clothes, pool shoes, a refillable water bottle, and stick sunscreen. Any small or loose items such as goggles or glasses should be placed in a clearly marked pouch within the bag. All belongings must be labelled with the child’s full name to help avoid loss.
Children should not bring toys, mobile phones, or electronic games. Mobile phones may not be used during camp hours, and the camp cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen personal items.
Campers are advised to wear cool, comfortable clothing along with closed-toe trainers, which are required for all activities. Sandals or flip-flops are not permitted, except when used solely for pool time. If pool shoes are needed, they should be packed separately.
Parents can either send a packed lunch or purchase a hot lunch through the camp. Packed lunches are not refrigerated, so an ice pack should be included. If a child arrives without a lunch, a hot meal will be provided, and the cost will be charged to the camper’s account. Peanut-free tables are available for children with allergies.
If your child requires medication during the camp day, a completed Medication Authorisation Form or Allergy Action Plan must be submitted. The medication and paperwork must be handed in at the camp's health station on the first day. Parents are required to collect any remaining medication at the end of the season, as unclaimed medicines will be discarded.
Yes, extended care is available through SkyHawks Henderson. Morning care begins at 7:30 a.m. and runs until 8:45 a.m., while afternoon care is available from 3:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Parents must register separately for this service.

Yes, parents or guardians may park and accompany their camper on the first day of their programme only. For all subsequent days, the carline should be used.
The afternoon carline starts around 3:15 p.m. Parents must display their carline tags and be prepared to show identification. Campers not collected by 3:45 p.m. will be taken to extended care and charged accordingly. After 6:00 p.m., additional late fees apply.
Early pick-up is only permitted before 2:30 p.m. or after 3:15 p.m. For safety and operational reasons, no early releases are allowed between 2:30 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. unless it is an emergency.
Camp runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with sessions starting 8 June and ending 24 July 2026. Week 4 (29 June–1 July) is a shortened, three-day week.
The standard weekly rate is $400 per camper. A 10% early registration discount is available between 15 January and 1 May, reducing the weekly cost to $360. The registration fee is $25 and is non-refundable. A 5% sibling discount is automatically applied to second and subsequent children. Educator and Henderson International School discounts are also available upon request prior to payment.

SRDC offers Day Camp for children in Pre-K through 5th Grade, Teen Camp for those in 6th to 8th Grade, and Sports Camp for campers in 4th through 8th Grade. Each programme features age-appropriate activities designed to build confidence, independence, and social skills.
Campers participate in a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities, ranging from creative arts to sports, science, themed dress-up days, and daily water play. The structure and activity offerings vary by age group. Younger children have scheduled rest times, while older campers experience more independence and leadership-building opportunities.
Yes, aquatics are a key part of the programme. Most campers participate in either swimming or water play daily, depending on age and camp group. The pool is staffed by certified lifeguards, and all campers are assessed for swim ability to ensure safety.
