We’re here for you

Our camps

At Henderson International School Summer Camp, students can build skills, make friends, and enjoy an unforgettable summer together joining one of our fun-filled camps.

Early Childhood Camp

Children entering PreK and Kindergarten discover a nurturing and engaging environment with no more than 15 campers per group and three certified preschool staff members.

Campers enjoy daily rest time, snacks, and age-appropriate water play, with PreK students participating in water activities (no pool) and Kindergarteners swimming daily.

Each day features two specialist-led activities, themed spirit days, and exciting special events and guest visits, ensuring a summer filled with fun, learning, and memorable experiences.

Early Childhood Camp

Day Camp

Campers in Lower School are divided by grade level in groups of 15 - 20 children. Each is supported by two staff members and one to two Counselors-in-Training (CITs), ensuring attentive supervision.

Campers dive into daily swim or water play, enjoy two or more specialist activities each day, and look forward to weekly special events and themed spirit days.

For campers in Grade 3 and up, free-choice blocks allow them to explore their interests and shape their own camp experience.

Day Camp

Sports Camp

The Sports Camp is perfect for sports enthusiasts entering Grades 5 - 8. Campers dive into a variety of sports each day, including flag football, basketball, soccer, baseball, and field hockey, while also enjoying general camp activities and themed spirit days.

Guided by guest coaches, they focus on building fundamental skills and deepening their understanding of each game.

Once a week, Sports Campers join in free-choice blocks, giving them the chance to explore other interests and connect with fellow campers.

Sports Camp

Teen Camp

Students in Middle School enjoy a dynamic blend of general camp activities and exciting off-campus day trips. Pre- and early-teens experience increased independence through more free-choice blocks and weekly leadership sessions.

Campers take an active role in the camp community by organizing at least two "Camp Cares" service projects each summer. The experience is rounded out with themed spirit days and the much-anticipated LATE NIGHT event, ensuring every camper enjoys a summer filled with growth, leadership, and memorable adventures.

Teen Camp

CIT Program

Rising 9th and 10th graders gain valuable experience working with school-age children, participate in weekly meetings focused on leadership and responsibility, and enjoy fun social outings with fellow Counselors-in-Training (CITs).

While off-campus events are not guaranteed, the program ensures CITs build creative thinking, communication, and conflict resolution skills, and gain teamwork experience.

Participants are accompanied by skilled mentors and gain community service hours, CIT camp t-shirts, and a free pizza lunch every Friday.

Frequently asked questions

Check out our FAQs, and if your question isn’t covered, feel free to contact our team

Campers should bring a labelled bag containing a towel, a change of clothes, pool shoes, a refillable water bottle, and stick sunscreen. Any small or loose items such as goggles or glasses should be placed in a clearly marked pouch within the bag. All belongings must be labelled with the child’s full name to help avoid loss.

Children should not bring toys, mobile phones, or electronic games. Mobile phones may not be used during camp hours, and the camp cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen personal items.

Campers are advised to wear cool, comfortable clothing along with closed-toe trainers, which are required for all activities. Sandals or flip-flops are not permitted, except when used solely for pool time. If pool shoes are needed, they should be packed separately.

Parents can either send a packed lunch or purchase a hot lunch through the camp. Packed lunches are not refrigerated, so an ice pack should be included. If a child arrives without a lunch, a hot meal will be provided, and the cost will be charged to the camper’s account. Peanut-free tables are available for children with allergies.

If your child requires medication during the camp day, a completed Medication Authorisation Form or Allergy Action Plan must be submitted. The medication and paperwork must be handed in at the camp's health station on the first day. Parents are required to collect any remaining medication at the end of the season, as unclaimed medicines will be discarded.

Yes, extended care is available through SkyHawks Henderson. Morning care begins at 7:30 a.m. and runs until 8:45 a.m., while afternoon care is available from 3:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Parents must register separately for this service.

Standard drop-off takes place between 8:45 a.m. and 9:05 a.m. using a carline system. Parents should remain in their vehicles and follow staff instructions for a smooth process. Late arrivals must park and escort their child to the front office.

Yes, parents or guardians may park and accompany their camper on the first day of their programme only. For all subsequent days, the carline should be used.

The afternoon carline starts around 3:15 p.m. Parents must display their carline tags and be prepared to show identification. Campers not collected by 3:45 p.m. will be taken to extended care and charged accordingly. After 6:00 p.m., additional late fees apply.

Early pick-up is only permitted before 2:30 p.m. or after 3:15 p.m. For safety and operational reasons, no early releases are allowed between 2:30 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. unless it is an emergency.

Camp runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with sessions starting 8 June and ending 24 July 2026. Week 4 (29 June–1 July) is a shortened, three-day week.

The standard weekly rate is $400 per camper. A 10% early registration discount is available between 15 January and 1 May, reducing the weekly cost to $360. The registration fee is $25 and is non-refundable. A 5% sibling discount is automatically applied to second and subsequent children. Educator and Henderson International School discounts are also available upon request prior to payment.

All payments must be completed by 1 June 2026, unless a payment plan is in place. Requests for refunds or changes must be made in writing by 1 May 2026. After this date, refunds are not guaranteed for voluntary cancellations.

SRDC offers Day Camp for children in Pre-K through 5th Grade, Teen Camp for those in 6th to 8th Grade, and Sports Camp for campers in 4th through 8th Grade. Each programme features age-appropriate activities designed to build confidence, independence, and social skills.

Campers participate in a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities, ranging from creative arts to sports, science, themed dress-up days, and daily water play. The structure and activity offerings vary by age group. Younger children have scheduled rest times, while older campers experience more independence and leadership-building opportunities.

Yes, aquatics are a key part of the programme. Most campers participate in either swimming or water play daily, depending on age and camp group. The pool is staffed by certified lifeguards, and all campers are assessed for swim ability to ensure safety.
